I felt it was appropriate.

I really like it when interviewers play the straight man and almost oppose the silliness. With these guys, all you have to do is drop them in a plain aquarium with coloured ball and watch them splish around.
Also, I don’t think the audience is sitting around thinking “Non-gag sentence? ZZZZZZZZzzzz.” We enjoy the personal commentary that you can get with a conversation format podcast like this. So, thanks!
Oh, and I once stole a hat.

I felt really remorseful, but it was so damn delicious.

I was holding them while my mom was paying and I forgot about it. I didn’t think about it until we got home. As soon as I got home, I realized that we never paid for them and I had just stolen something. I sat in my room for a long time and thought about how I could go to jail for stealing. I ended up hiding them somewhere because I didn’t want anyone to know. It still worried me for a few years after that. I ended up finding that I still had them and they were still hidden when moving out of the house 7 years later.

A thoughtful sort of stealing. Perhaps.

I think I may have been inspired by Peter Rabbit or something, but I stopped after the neighbor (who I picture wearing overalls and with a pitchfork, though I think he was just a retired suburban grandfather) caught me walking down the street at five in the morning. He had been setting traps for rabbits and he caught me walking away, little chubby toddler in a tee shirt, with a rabbit trap around my ankle and two fists full of onions. My parents learned two things about me that day – that they should always lock the screen door, and that I was going to continue to be a very weird kid.

I guess we were taking a walk on the wild side. We wanted to impress one of the “bad kids.” Said “bad kid” immediately turned us in. Apparently, there is no honor among thieves. Our punishment was to pick up twigs in the school yard. I was crushed by shame and guilt and thought every person driving by that day was radiating disgust at my horrific crime.

I was in grade school. I think it was 4th or 3rd.

I didn’t have enough money for it and I “had” to have it, lol. It was the most popular shade that all the girls were wearing and I “had” to be cool, right? Needless to say I proudly wore it to school the next day. LOL!

I was in a stroller and at eye level with a candy rack. I grabbed a candy unwrapped it and started to eat it and immediately spit it out because it was coffee flavored and I was a toddler. I felt bad because I had never really done anything wrong before and my mom ended up paying for the candy.

If I’d known you were going to have Elanor the Tour Whore and Garth Merenghi at your place, I would have found a reason to ‘drop by’! I can’t wait to listen to the podcast.

I maintain that I was justified. They had all the cool pieces, and they weren’t using them.
