I just got into podcasts within the past two months, and I’m really enjoying going through some of your older interviews. I’m looking forward to the next podcast to come out so the references are a little more topical compared to the ones I’ve been listening to recently.

Anyway, I’m not going to pass up a chance to win a sweet PMC t-shirt, so the first amusement park I can remember visiting is Sesame Place for a preschool field trip. Unfortunately, the only thing I really remember is a plastic Ernie taking a bubble bath with his rubber ducky because I wanted to jump in and join him. I didn’t then, but maybe one of these days…

While I enjoyed taking a weekend trip with my friends (like a giant, overgrown slumber party), I hate roller coasters. I just don’t get the thrill of the adrenaline rush. Anyway, so all of the other girls would go on the Batman ride and our troop leader’s son (who was too young to go with them) and I would ride the Joker which was the big boat thing that goes back and forth. On top of that, I sat in the middle because I didn’t like going too high. Wow, recalling that makes me feel a little sad for young me.

In regards to the first question, it was King’s Dominion (in Virginia) which I always find funny since I grew up in Florida and have been to Disney a billion times. My favorite ride (and the only I remember) was the Scooby Doo Rollercoaster. awwwww yeah.

Iain is totally charming and funny. I love you guys and really look forward to each new podcast and also listen to my favorites over again. You two are so great together, I would love to hear how you met and started working together. The first Amusment Park was Kings Island in Cincinnati, Ohio. The same one the Brady Bunch went to! I loved “The Spider” but it’s not there anymore. I loved that ride, and the line was always short, because everyone was waiting in line for the double roller coaster, “The Racer.” Good Times.

My favorite part was the Timber-wolf, which is a wooden roller coaster and the only adult roller coaster I got to go on that day. It stood in stark contrast to the roller coaster in camp snoopy, which was a kiddie coaster where all the cars are segments of a caterpillar, and that caterpillar terrified me.

I always liked the carousel. We’d change horses when we were on the far side from the operator, so he couldn’t see us, and think we were being so mischievous.
