Does bowling count as a sport? If so I was on a bowling league in fifth or sixth grade. It was weird because we were forced on a team with strangers. The father of one of my team members ended up being my eighth grade music teacher. Every time is saw him I’d think “I’m sure that guy is an alcoholic”.

I played soccer as a kid, and was suuuuper lazy about it.

Long before I saw MST3K, I was reading MiSTings of Sailor Moon fanfic. Doesn’t get much nerdier/better.

The first sport I actually remember is Tee-ball when I was five, but I am told that I was in a swim league the year before.

My first sport was also T-Ball. I think I was on the “Yankees”.

I really enjoyed this podcast. It was weird timing because I am running my first marathon this weekend. If EJ Scott can run 12 marathons in 12 months, then I can run one in my life, right?

The first organized sport I played was AYSO soccer. I think I started when i was five, and I distinctly remember not understanding what I was doing there. For the first few weeks, I would stand where they put me, and refuse to run or kick the ball. I eventually figured it out, and I actually played soccer for the next five or six years.

Sadly it didn’t happen for me until I was 39, but I still love playing Ultimate Frisbee!
