Pop My Culture T-Shirt design contest

As we settle into our second year of the Pop My Culture Podcast, we’d like to join the world of merch and make some sweet PMC T-shirts! We’re not the most artistically-inclined, but we’re sure some of you are. So we introduce the first ever Pop My Culture T-Shirt Contest! Let your imaginations run wild! You can email the artwork to:

info [at] popmyculturepodcast.com

The winning artist will receive $100 and a fun Pop My Culture gift bag chock full of cool stuff! Sound good? We’ll also post everyone’s artwork (with your permission) in our gallery so everyone can see the coolness we had to choose from. Thanks in advance and we look forward to seeing your ideas!

What are we looking for? Good Question! The ideal design could have something to do with pop culture, our guests, our questions/games, wizards, ogres, whatever! Just create an image you think encapsulates our podcast, and make a design that will look cool/pop on a shirt. Would you want to wear it?

What’s in it for me? Well, aside from a cash prize ($100), a cool gift basket loaded with pop-culture goodness, a rap AND thanku- your design AND you will be plugged on the show, on our site, and get lots of exposure. And acclaim. FOREVER.

Nuts N’ Bolts: The artwork only needs to be web-quality for now, but we’ll need it high-res/print-quality should we choose your design.

Deadline?: EXTENDED! MAY 1, 2011.

Is there a theme? A style? Any guidelines? I assume web-friendly art is fine until you approve and then you’ll ask for print-friendly?

Any color limitations? Any things we should be mindful of?

really, you should determine the cash prize before posting this.

I can’t design this, but Vanessa and Cole howling at the moon would be AWESOME. Or a thunderstorm – your choice. If this design wins, I don’t want $, I just want one, sized Adult Medium, please.
