Everyone is going to Nerdist. I think you should have a rumble with the Maximum Fun group.

When I was a kid the Bubble Tape gum became popular. I sure did like things that reminded me of eating tape, Bubble Tape, Fruit by the Foot, stuff like that.

Butterfingers were by far my favorite candy when I was young. My parents are both dentists, so I’d have to pretend to care about my brother’s little league games and buy them on the down-low from the green cinder block shed thing where they sell snacks at those games. Worth it!

    Congrats on moving to Nerdist!

In the beginning, y’all were talking about video games….I believe the commercial Vanessa was referencing (with the hoods) was for Assassin’s Creed. Could be wrong, though.

I grew up in the south but was raised by midwesterners, so there was always a ton of candy and junk food in my house. Little Debby Nutty Buddies (I think that’s the name) was probably my first *favorite* sweet food. Or maybe Entemann’s chocolate donuts. I also loooved Cheetos.

Welcome to Nerdist! It seems like everyone I love is moving to Nerdist.

The first candy I can clearly remember eating, craving, and actively seeking was Swedish Fish. Even now, 20 something years later, I’ll admit that I bought 4 bags at the supermarket tonight.

I loved Smarties as a kid. I used to call them my Power Pellets. I would eat a package in front of my friends and then rage around possessed like the Incredible Hulk. One time I ate 3 packs on a dare and then lifted a really heavy barbell like it was nothing. Still haven’t found a hernia!
